چکیده
Abstract Mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphoma is generally associated with chronic antigen stimulation: auto-antigens or of microbial origin. Only one study suggested association between Achromobacter xylosoxidans and pulmonary MALT lymphoma. We aimed to investigate the presence virus any infectious agents in by using metagenomic next-generation sequencing (mNGS). All lung samples were centrally reviewed. The t(11;18) (q21;q21) was evaluated FISH analysis. snap frozen large biopsies analyzed mNGS. After homogenization total nucleic acids (RNA DNA) extracted, amplified classified according their taxonomic assignment, after exclusion host DNA. included 13 from (mean age: 60.3 years, 7 women, 3 auto-immune background) 10 controls. diagnosis confirmed for samples, showed API2-MALT1 translocation (23%). No evidence a specific pathogen clearly identified group patients A. sequence 4/13 4/10 This did not find DNA RNA virus, fungi, parasite bacteria either stroma tumor cells.

Gastric MALT Lymphoma Presenting as a Large Solitary Submucosal Mass
Herein, we report on a 24-year-old woman with a large well-marginated gastric mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphoma. She presented with dysphagia and epigastric pain. In esophagogastroduodenoscopy there was a huge bulging submucosal mass with normal appearing mucosa in the cardia in addition to a grade B gastro-esophageal reflux disease. She was treated with a proton pump inhibit...

A 65-year-old woman was referred to our hospital due to a pulmonary nodule on chest CT. She had been diagnosed with anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody-related vasculitis 10 years previously, which had been stabilized using 10 mg/ day prednisolone therapy. Chest CT revealed a crazy-paving appearance (Picture A). The lung resection specimen revealed a pulmonary low grade mucosa-associated lymph...

Association of Helicobacter pylori (H. Pylori) infection with gastric 'Mucosa Associated Lymphoid Tissue' (MALT) lymphomas (MALTomas) is well established. In this study the frequency and characteristics of gastric MALToma over a period of 18 years was evaluated. During this period 24 patients with gastric MALToma were diagnosed; out of them, 13 (54.2%) had active H. Pylori infection. The mean a...
متن کاملUnusual cystic presentation of pulmonary nodular amyloidosis associated with MALT-type lymphoma.
The case reported herein consists of nodular pulmonary amyloidosis presenting with unusual cystic radiological features which reveal a pulmonary localisation of an extranodal marginal zone B-cell lymphoma of mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT lymphoma). The present case is the first to report a radiological presentation of nodular pulmonary amyloidosis in the absence of Sjögren's syndrome....
